Wendell Hughes, age 80, of Woodstock, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 24th, 2020. He was born on March 24th, 1940 to the late Lettie and Harold Hughes.

Wendell loved music and was a talented guitar, banjo and harmonica player. He enjoyed the outdoors and often went bowling with his wife, Lena.

Mr. Hughes has been reunited with his wife, Lena Mae Hughes. He is survived by, son, Robert Allen Sr.; grandchildren, Jessica Allen and husband Gary Silvers, Robert Allen Jr. and wife Brittany Allen; great grandchildren, James Garrett Jr., Deegan Garrett, Bryson Garrett, Waylon Garrett, Arerie Allen, Reagan Allen; sister, Helen Avery; sister-in-law, Marie Hughes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00pm at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, Alpharetta, GA.
