Milton Blackmore

Milton Blackmore was a lifelong resident of Austin, Texas. He was a Leander High School graduate, a veteran in The Army of Reserves, a member of The Masonic Lodge, and he was member and deacon of Lanier Baptist Church. He also had passions for hunting, fishing, and sports.

Milton worked for AT&T for 42 years and while working there, he met Robbie in Sweeny, Texas and they were married on March 27, 1959. Milton was a loving husband and father and he will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Earl Blackmore and Jewel Hamilton Blackmore; his son, Clifford Blackmore; his sisters, Aline Brown, Elizabeth Gilmore, and Mary Rose Schlee.

He is survived by his wife, Robbie, of Austin, Texas; daughters, Rona Armendariz and her husband, Joel, and Denise Lozano and her husband, Robert; his son Greg Blackmore and his wife, Dell; grandchildren, Jared Randig, Cody Seaman, Ashley Randig, Dustin Lozano, Cutter Seaman, and Lane Blackmore; and eight great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2020 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2020 in The Memorial Chapel of the funeral home followed by a committal service and interment in Bear Creek Cemetery in Bertram, Texas.
