Anita Joyce Logue

Anita Joyce Logue (nee Alvarina), 55, of Fallston, MD, passed away September 15, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Baltimore, MD, and was the oldest child of the late Jesse and Evonne Alvarina. Anita graduated from Institute of Notre Dame in 1983 and earned a BBA in Accounting from Loyola College in 1987. She married Joseph Logue III in 1988.

Anita is survived by her husband and two children, Samuel Logue and Christopher Logue. She is also survived by her sister, Lisa Alvarina Singleton, her brother, Joseph Alvarina, her father-in-law, Joseph Logue Jr., her mother-in-law, Mary Logue, her sisters-in-law, Julie Green and Teresa Logue, her brothers-in-law, Jerry Logue and Colin Green, her four nephews, Michael Green, Adam Logue, Jacob Singleton, and Joshua Singleton, as well as other family members and close friends who supported her throughout her illness.

Anita earned her CPA shortly after graduation and worked at the accounting firm Coyne and McLean. She then worked at Mid Atlantic Dental as the Controller. After the birth of her oldest son in 1997, she transitioned to being a stay-at-home mom and volunteer. Her friendly face and distinct laugh could be found supporting Sammy, Chris, and their friends at schools, swimming pools, and ball fields. Her organizational skills were used as she planned and hosted many events with family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, and her recipes were enjoyed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 W. MacPhail Road Bel Air, on Monday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be at Highview Memorial Gardens.
