im so late on this but i just came back from visiting my hometown in Trinidad & Tabago man my Prayers go out to the family and all the great friends on this page who made time to care for someone other than themselves who will do our best to deal with this i have ah permanant scare that taylor gave me that i could now never be mad with so as i carry on with my journey just know you will never be forgotten my boy rest easy and stay dry as we would always say to each other we love you my boy.

Dear Olivia, Jaime, and Mark 

I am so sorry for your loss. I’ll never forget the times we all had in the neighborhood. I used to ride my bike over to your house and me, liv, Taylor, Brandon, Sky, loads of us different groups of us kids would hangout there complaining all day about how bored we were, when in reality we were making memories that’ll last forever. The drives up the school for the blind and Taylor would have me laughing so hard I’d almost have to pull over cause I couldn’t see to drive, my eyes tearing up from laughing too hard. The silly pranks we would play and all the days spent soaking up the sun when we were footloose and fancy free. Taylor was the life of a party and always knew how to make us laugh. He was a caring and kind friend and would go out of his way to help a friend if he could do it. We used to have a joke that if neither of us where married by 40 we’d just marry each other because then at least we’d know we were in good hands! Hahahaha. Another Favourite memory is when I first started driving the bug and Taylor was pumping the gas with the music turned all the way up twerking on the car and I couldn’t stop laughing. We took a picture that day with him in my drivers seat and made everyone think I crazily let “a blind man” drive the bug. These are just a few of the thousands of silly things we used to pull off together. Taylor will be missed terribly and my mom and I send our condolences for you guys in this time of need. 

So sorry for your loss. You all are in my prayers. Hope you find comfort in all the memories he left behind.

You and dalton were the first people in 9th grade to befriend me and we’ve been very close ever since. We’ve shared so many great memories over the years with the gang. You were one of the nicest, most sincere and caring people I’ve ever have the pleasure of knowing. 

I miss you everyday.

Since hearing about your passing I've been trying to think of words that could even remotely describe the person you were but the truth is, none can do you justice. I will never forget the friend you were. When my brother passed away, you were there for me more than I think you ever realized. You always checked on me and made sure that everytime you saw me, even in passing, I was smiling or laughing about something stupid you were coming up with. You always knew how to make a person laugh THAT is FOR SURE. 

I will never forget the many times Mrs. Gore had to separate us because she couldn't handle us on the same side of the kitchen or even in the kitchen at all. We were always doing something to irritate her but hey, we had fun. We definitely all had a time in that class together.

I am so sad to hear you are gone sweet friend. I will forever cherrish the memories I have and will always remember your infectious smiling. I will keep your family and loved ones in my thoughts and prayers.

Our Jamestown fam! You were such a big part of our lives being neighbors. We shared countless memories from Halloween bashs to sitting on the Jamestown lake. You were a great friend and such a shining light. Your friendship will never be forgotten and those memories will forever be cherished. Rest easy friend.

I'm so sorry to hear of your losing Taylor.   You are in my prayers.

It’s been 14 years since we have met and I wish I could talk about all those wonderful memories we shared but the one that sticks with me the most is when Taylor and the rest of the gang came to my house unexpectedly to show that my friends were there to support me after going through rehab. Taylor values his time with friends like it was his last day ever with them. It’s never goodbye dear friend, I will see you everyday in my dreams and feel you in my heart.

Taylor helped shape me into the Dalton Mathis I am today.  

One of my favorite pictures of Taylor taken with Harrison . He  had this wonderful ability to relate to children and get on their level.  His compassionate heart will be missed. 

I’m so glad I had the opportunity of knowing Taylor and being able to call him one of my closest friends. This photo was taken almost exactly 3 years ago when we were all in Greensboro together. Brandon and I will miss you so much T1 💙

Matt and I have hurting hearts for you in the passing of Taylor. Matt and I were just saying how he and Olivia were the first children to run in our yard when you visiting us in CT, back in the summer of 97. Know that you will be in our prayers as you go through the services and adjust to life without your precious boy in it. 

Where to begin?! Taylor you were an awesome guy. We had our differences in high school but you were the only person I shared a birthday with and I will never forget the memories we were able to have on our birthday!

This photo shows the Taylor and Liv I met, maybe a little older here, and instantly fell in love with. I made myself right at home within their family and haven’t left since. Taylor had a  contagious laugh that could always cheer anyone up in a time of need. He was the type of person if you were worried about something, so was he. He was always looking out for others and had such a huge heart. I have had so many memories over the years that I will forever cherish. 

Honestly there are way too many good memories with Taylor and my brother Zach and all our friends to pick just one!! I did find this picture of one of our many neon bowling trips.. Really gonna miss you Taylor but very blessed to have those Memories and good times with you! Just sad we didnt get to photograph them all but ill forever remember the good times!! 

I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Jamie, Mark, Olivia & the rest of the family.  Words can not express the sadness felt & the Love & Concern for the family.

I wanted to share my favorite memory with Taylor; which was this past December while I was in TX.  It was a quick visit for me, but I had the best time.  Taylor cooked an amazing dinner.  Later, we walked the dogs through the neighborhood near midnight, just talking & looking at Christmas lights.  Then we sat near the pool & had a drink & talked more.  

The next morning we went to see his school then walked for hours at a local park.  It was a beautiful day.  We had the best time just talking about anything & everything.  We even talked about taking a trip together.  Later, we had lunch at a Mexican restaurant.  This was the most time I had ever spent with Taylor one on one.  I am so thankful for that one day to really get to know Taylor.  He is an amazing young man.  I will miss him.

I’m sure that right now he is in the Loving arms of Grammy.
