Born in Bamber Bridge, England, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Elizabeth (Becconsall) Sparling. Audrey moved to New Bedford when she was 4 years old, and was a long time resident of the New Bedford. She graduated from New Bedford High School and the former Kinyon Campbell Business School. She was employed as a Statistician for Borg Warner for 20 years.
An active member of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, she assisted with the Thrift Shop on a weekly basis and had been active with the Altar Guild for many years. Audrey loved her family especially her grandsons. She enjoyed travelling, music and knitting.
She is survived are her three sons, Stephen S. and Mark T. Partridge of New Bedford; Richard Partridge and his wife Janice of Swansea, her three grandsons Geoffrey, Ryan and Andrew Partridge.
Her Funeral Service will be held Monday January 27, 2020 at 10am in St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, County St., New Bedford. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Sunday 3-6Pm in the Waring –Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth.
