When I was coordinator is student assistance for the state of Alabama, I worked with Joe to provide opportunities for MAX customers.  What a joy to work with Joe, who provided help to me in becoming a MAX customer.  My prayers for his family.  We all miss our friend, Joe.

I wanted to tell the family I am sorry I was unable to stand in line to sign the book or see Joe.  I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.

Joe and me served together many years in the army guard.Enjoy talking to him at gun shows.We had many laughs over the years.Rest in peace.

I didn't know Joe for very long, but I admired his love for singing in the church choir,it touched my heart to see him sing to God.Joe struggled to sing when he was in the wheel chair he sat by the stage and when he couldn't sing a note he wept it hurt his ❤️ so that he couldn't sing.I admired his love,faith in Jesus.My deepest condolences to the family and friends.

So sorry to hear about Joe's passing.  Served his country with distinction, a wonderful family man, hard worker--and what a great sense of humor.    Always enjoyed out time together along with Joe Panza for breakfast  at the Wagon Wheel after our AFA  meetings.  Tried to solve the world's problems,  but mostly had fun and plenty of laughs.   I was blessed to have known him and called him a friend.  
My deepest sympathy to you and  the family.  

My honor to serve with Joe in the ALARNG. He was an outstanding NCO and a truly nice person.  So many of our friends are passing on to bigger and better things. Joe is now in the house of our Lord and Savior.  Amen.  I salute you Joe Andrew.


My sincerest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working with Joe for several years at MAX and always enjoyed our talks and visits.  Joe had a way of bringing joy wherever he was.  Joe knew everyone and he made a connection for us that resulted my husband getting the position he now  has.  I will always be thankful to him and grateful that my life was blessed by knowing him.  

Joe and I have been good friends since early childhood,  growing up here in Geneva.   I spent many nights at his house during the late 50s and early/mid 60s, as he did at mine.  Our parents were good friends.  Killer Joe and I went camping, rode the dirt roads of Geneva County at night hunting rabbits, trips to the beach, as well as wading Spring Creek with our .22s hunting snakes.  We  sort of lost touch when he moved to Montgomery, but  remained friends nevertheless.  He made the trip down from Montgomery for my surprise 60th birthday, and it meant a lot.  Joe got his gracious, outgoing personality from his mother, Gene, who, like her youngest son, never met a stranger.   He made friends wherever he went, seldom without a smile on his face.  Joe, old buddy, you will be missed.  Rest in peace, my friend.

I served with Joe in the AL ARNG.  He was an exceptional leader, and good friend.  He will be missed.  I too am a widow now too.   Your memories will bring you much comfort.  I pray God give you comfort  and peace during this season.

Joe and I grew up next door in Geneva. He was often at my house even though I was five years older. Many years later he and his family moved to Montgomery in my neighborhood on Page Place. He was a delightful friend and will be missed by all who knew him❤️

I met Joe when I joined the guard. He was so very kind, considerate, and helpful to everyone he knew. 

I know his friends and family will Miss him him very Much. 

Joe was one of the first to offer his time and knowledge to a new group of wanna be lieutenants. He definitely shared with many young Soldiers. I saw him in the doctor's office just weeks ago. Didn't recognize him at first. May God Bless his family during this difficult time. Our hearts and prayers are with you all. 

I had the honor and pleasure of serving with Joe Andrew in the Alabama Army National Guard while assigned to the Directorate of Operational Readiness.  Joe was an outstanding NCO and a pleasure with whom to work. Y’all have my sympathy.

My late husband, Carl Lee Edwards, was friends with Joe and his family. Carl had so many nice memories of their families sharing fun times in Geneva. Ginger, I am so sorry for your loss and will say prayers for you and your family.

Joe and I served on the Air Force Association chapter 102 board together as well as being Rotarians in the Sunrise Rotary club. Joe epitomized Service Above Self in every aspect of his life. God has called another angel home. Prayers for his loving family knowing that our Lord  is holding them close . 

Dear Ginger,  so sorry for your loss. We have found memories of you and Joe from the HGBC days.  May Jesus hold you and your family close in the days and weeks ahead. You will see him again! Thank you Jesus for your promises of a Hope and a future.

I was priviledged to serve in the Alabama Army National Guard with Joe for many years.  His devotion to duty was noticable and appreciated by all who knew him.  His integrity coupled with his positive attitude provided a work environment that was both pleasing and efficient.  Rest in Peace Sgt Andrew.

Oh my precious friend, Ginger. My heart is so broken after seeing this.   I love you and am continually lifting you and the girls up to our Heavenly Father.   Love you so, Martha 

In 1988 when I moved to Montgomery Alabama within weeks I knew Joe Andrew.  Within a couple of months I was a regular in his home.  Always welcomed, always encouraged and always loved.  His heart, spirit and joy for life taught me every time we shared time together.  I admired him so much I asked him to be my daughter Cali’s Godfather.   Knowing Joe made me a better person and I will always count myself blessed.  My love, prayers and thoughts go out to our beloved Ginger, Emory, Leslie and Jordan as we smile and remember Joe!

Please accept my sincere sympathy in the loss of Joe Randall Andrew.   I knew Joe and Ginger at Eastmont Baptist Church.   Joe was always friendly and a great Christian man.
