Richard Dale Kornegay

Richard is survived by his nephew James P. Kornegay and his wife Katie.

Richard was preceded in death by his father Doc Kornegay and mother Lois Kornegay; brother James P. Kornegay Sr..

Richard Dale Kornegay also known as "Dale" by his family was a loving caregiver to his Mother and Brother. He enjoyed spending his time with his family. Dale attended and graduated from South Park High School. After graduation Dale served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Once discharged from the military Dale had a long career with North Star Steel as a instrument tech.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held in the chapel Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM. A Celebration of Richard's life will follow in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 4955 Pine, Beaumont, Texas 77703.
