Funeral service for Grace Dexter Brawner 96, are set for 2:00 pm Wednesday at McPeters Funeral Directors with Ron Choate, Jeremy Prather and Steve Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Henry Cemetery.
Grace died December 27, 2020 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab. She was born October 25, 1924 to the late Dewitt and Ina Dexter. She was a member of East Corinth Church of Christ, She retired from Coca-Cola as a bottle inspector. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Doc Brawner; daughter, Barbara Brawner; parents; brothers, Garfield Dexter, Earl Dexter; sisters, Eleanor Johnson, Mary Dexter.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Brawner; brother, Daniel Dexter; sister, Dorothy Lucas; other family and friends.
Contributions in Grace's memory may be made to Pinevale Children Home, 1872 Cr 700, Corinth, MS. 38834.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Wednesday 1:00 to service time at McPeters.
