I miss my cowboy friend, our long chats about life, love, horses and corrupt governments! Haha! Al would have lots to say about what's happening today but he would end with a few words of encouragement that portray the thought that... it'll surely will get better as it couldn't get much worse! Haha! Miss you friend; wishing for much happiness for Pat, family, and friends.

And a man that loved his family and his animals.

He had a vision and he will be sorely missed.

I have all the respect in the world for Al and what he achieved during his tenure. I really enjoyed working with him. He was an inspiration as well as an innovator especially towards safety. I'm sure he saved his employers many $$ with his dedication towards safety but I know he was tough but fair.

We are so sad to hear of Al’s passing. He was one of those rare men who just seemed to instinctively know how to do pretty much anything. When I think of Al, it’s always associated with some sort of activity - fixing, building, working at something around the acreage ... and most recently, taking his great- grandsons for full-throttle scooter rides around the yard this past summer - not sure who was more  happy that day, the kids or Al!
