Marian was born on January 25th, 1939 in Greenbush Township to Percy and Florence Deuel. She was raised in the Foreston area, and attended Milaca High School. She married her husband, John, on March 3, 1962. Together they raised two daughters in Blaine. She was employed by Crawford and Company for more than 40 years.
Following retirement Marian enjoyed volunteering at Peace Lutheran Church. She loved any chance to spend time with her daughters, siblings and extended family. Most of all she loved being a Grandma, having “Grandma nights”, and attending as many hockey games, concerts and plays as possible.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Florence Deuel and her brother, Floyd Deuel. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John, her daughters Joann Grow and Susan Pettis and her grandson, Jeremy Pettis. She will be missed by her sisters and brothers, Elaine Freichels, LaDonna Olson, Helen Sanborn, Marlys Santema, Donald Deuel (Anita), Rick Deul (Ann), and Darla Butler, as well as many nieces and nephews.
