John Dennis Kufera

On July 18, 2021, John Dennis Kufera passed away. He was the beloved husband of the late Joan Margaret Kufera (nee Brandt); devoted father of Joanne Margaret Clark and her husband Jerry; loving grandfather of E. Ashley Leishear and her husband Michael, Joanna Marie Brenner and her husband Jared, W. Scott Bailey, Cory Clark and his wife Sarah, and Kelly Barnes and her husband James; cherished great-grandfather of Addyson Bruchey, Sophia, Tyler, Camden, and Cora Brenner, and Talon, Tripp, Elliott, and Hayden Barnes; dear brother of Jean Karwacki, the late Anthony, Stanley, Walter, Frank, Joseph, and Stella Kufera, and the late Theresa Siatkowski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Schimunek Funeral Home, 9705 Belair RD, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Funeral will be celebrated on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at 10 AM, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (Baltimore, MD). Interment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery (Dundalk, MD). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
