Rodrigo is survived by his spouse, Alberta S. Ruelas; daughter Flora Ruelas (Francisco Javier Lopez); son Rodrigo Ruelas Jr.; Alejandro Ruelas; daughter Bertha Ruelas and son Miguel Ruelas.
Rodrigo was preceded in death by his parents Severa and Geronimo Ruelas and son Antonio Ruelas.
Mr. Ruelas leaves behind nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren to cherish his memory.

Viewing for Rodrigo will be Friday, September 10, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with service commencing at 6:00 pm there after at Hillcrest Funeral Home West, 5054 Doniphan Dr. El Paso, Texas 79932.
For those family and friends not able to attend the services, they will be streaming live at 6:00 PM on Facebook Live under the direction of Hillcrest Funeral Home West.
