Josefina Castro Sevilla

Josefina Castro Sevilla, age 81, of Houston, Texas was called home by our Lord. So she departed for her long awaited journey with open arms and Joy in her Heart ready to serve as requested. She said her farewells and gracefully went to sleep until her departure. She was accompanied by her Cherished Family until she departed on Tuesday morning, September 1, 2020. Josefina was born December 6, 1938 in Crystal City, Texas. She traveled the country growing up but settled in Texas. She met the love of her life Pedro R. Sevilla Sr. in Corpus Christi Texas. They married and moved to Houston Texas and started a Family. Together they raised their Family and enjoyed their Life until her passing. She lived her life to the fullest but her passion was Family. She served as the Sevilla Matriarch with Love and Compassion and left her mark on countless hearts. This world will have a void that will be hard to fill.

Josefina is survived by her sons : Pedro Sevilla Jr. ,Luis Sevilla, and daughters: Dianna Sevilla, Estela Hernandez; Florentina Lopez; Rebecca Ramos; sisters: Manuela Carnline, Ofelia Ramirez, Maria Del Carmen Lopez, Elosia Gutierrez and brother Raynaldo Castro. Josefina is also survived by 14 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grand Children that she dearly loved.

Josefina was preceded in death by her beloved husband Pedro R. Sevilla Sr; brothers Edwardo Castro, Mersed Castro Jr, Santo Castro, Jose Castro; sisters Maria Inman and Paula Gonzalez.

Funeral service for Josefina will be held Tuesday September 8, 2020 from 2 to 3 PM followed by a Private Service for her immediate Family from 3 to 8 PM and Wednesday, September 9, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. Following the funeral service will be a committal service at 11:30 AM at South Park Cemetery, 1310 North Main St, Pearland, TX 77581.
