Anneliese Johnstone

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Anne on March 7, 2019 at the Menno Home in Abbotsford. Anne will be greatly missed by her partner of 35 years, Bill Conn; sisters, Marsha (Hugh), Karin (Brian); brothers, Ralph, Carl (Debbie), Jim, Danny, Carmen, Desmond; her nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Cristy, Ashley, Stacey, Ryan; Bill’s nieces and nephews, Lisa, Stacey, Rob, Shelly, and Karen. Anne was predeceased by her parents, George and Katharina Geddert; Bill’s parents, Sam and Eileen; and Linda, Judy, and Ben. Anne was born in Hachborn, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1954 with her parents and sister, Marsha. Anne worked as a caregiver at Simpson Rest Home for 33 years and thoroughly enjoyed working with seniors. She was a great animal lover and would go out of her way to save an animal. We would like to thank all the staff at Menno Home for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA. No service by request.
