Daniel Christopher Dumont. The man. The myth. The legend. Dan was born in Charlotte, NC, in the middle of a blizzard, but he warmed our hearts from that day forward. Everyone who met Dan loved him. Dan died suddenly on August 19, 2019. He loved his family, laughter, fishing and the outdoors. Dan had a big smile and gave even bigger hugs. Dan leaves behind his loving wife, Lindsey Wyatt Dumont, their 10-month-old son, William Wyatt, his 9-year-old son, Liam Paxton of McKinney, TX, his brother and sister-in-law Douglas and Jennie Dumont, his sister and brother-in-law Alyson and Richard Call, his parents William and Barbara Dumont and many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, aunts and uncles that he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his grandparents William and June Dumont and John and Edy Campbell. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Taylor Wyatt. Dan graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Business Administration/US History. He married Lindsey on Sept. 4th, 2011, surrounded by his family and friends. He was a member of Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Atlanta. He was employed Yoh, A Day & Zimmerman Company and was the lead recruiter in the Greater Atlanta Area.
