Pauline (Hubert) Gray

Passed away at the age of 94 with her daughter and Sandy Jones by her side. Polly lived a very full life filled with memories of time spent with family and friends at their home on Lakeview Drive in Aylmer and at the cottage. Predeceased by the love of her life Bernard (Bud) Gray. Dearly loved by her son Bruce, wife Karen and granddaughters Melissa and Allison. Daughter Nancy, husband Michel Verville and step-children David and Alannah. As the last living sibling, Polly was one of 13 children born to Emma and Eugene Hubert. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who always made her feel special with their calls and visits. Special thanks to the Monastery staff and Dr. Moreau for taking such good care of her for the past 8 1/2 years, especially during her last two difficult months. We are grateful that she was able to remain in the comfort of her own room surrounded by the people and staff she knew, loved and enjoyed. She always had a big smile for you when you walked into her room and in her later years was a staff favourite for her smile and glass 4/5 full attitude. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chartwell Monastère d’Aylmer, 161 Principale St, Gatineau in the Egan Room. Parking is available in the front or back of the building and also across the street at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
