Carol Proft

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts the family of Carol Rose Proft announces her sudden passing on December 4, 2018 at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her loving family, husband of 55 years, Harry Proft; 3 children, Lee (Rudy) Sudrich of Calgary, Wes (Nancy) Proft of Edmonton and Natalie (Steve) Carlson of Spruce Grove; 2 grandchildren, Isabelle Proft and Dylan Carlson; 2 sisters, Pearl (Jack) Newman and Judy Brunelle; as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. Carol will be forever loved and remembered by all who know her. Take solace in one of her favorite poems. The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops, and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains… For every joy that passes, something beautiful remains. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from St. John’s Lutheran Church in Barrhead. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Pastor Kevin Ree officiating.
