Merle D. Tabor

Merle D. Tabor was born November 12th, 1938 in Danville, Illinois to Emerson and Dorothy (Talley) Tabor. He attended Danville High School where he was a star football player and wrestler. After High School he went into the Army stationed in Germany where he learned his computer skills. When his time served was over he was employed at the Danville Junior College and thereafter earned an Associates Degree. He was an active member of the Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He moved to Citrus Springs, Florida in 2006 from Naples, Florida. Merle is preceded in death by his wife Roberta Joyce Tabor and sister Barbara Pastrikos. He is survived by his son Douglas Tabor, daughter Dori Ford, grandchildren Samantha Tabor, Cameron Bailey, half-sister Cynthia Belton, step children Curtis T. Lewsader, Roberta Lynn Lewsader and step-grandchildren Michelle Saucier, Robert Saucier and other step grandchildren.
