Larry Lynn Dotson

Larry L. Dotson, 64, of Bloomington, Illinois passed away August 8th, 2019 at his home. He was born November 15 1954 in Bloomington, Illinois, the son of late Patricia and Loren Dotson. Larry was raised in Arrowsmith, Illinois. He graduated Saybrook Arrowsmith High School. Upon graduation he worked at R.B. White Inc. for many years and left to start his own handy man business. Additionally, he worked at Indian Springs Golf Course, but the job he truly loved the most was helping Dale West harvest in the fall. He is survived by his son Michael (Wendy) Dotson of LeRoy, and two grandsons Truett and Declan. Also surviving are his brother Mark Dotson of LeRoy and 2 sisters, Sharon Embry of Chenoa, and Judy (Robert) Wood of Salem, Oregon. A celebration of life will be held Sunday August 25 from 2-5pm at the LeRoy Christian Church, 603 S East St, Le Roy, IL 61752. He was a gentle soul who loved spending time with his son, daughter in-law, grandkids, and family. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
