Bill Bellamy

William T. “Bill” Bellamy, 83, passed away May 18, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born September 23, 1935, to William J. and Mable Sartin Bellamy. He was an Elder and song leader for Zion Rest Church of Christ. He was an exterminator for Gold Bond Pest Control before his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing the guitar. A celebration of life service will be 4:00 P.M. Monday, May 20, 2019, at Zion Rest Church of Christ with Minister Tony Brown officiating. Burial will be in Zion Rest Cemetery. Services are under the direction of McMillan Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife, Lonova Woodruff Bellamy; his daughter, Becky Thomas and her husband Mark; two grandsons, Seth (Karen) Thomas and Aaron Thomas; and two great-granddaughters, Ella and Kenzie Thomas. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucy Bolton Bellamy; and his parents. Pall bearers are the Elders and Deacons of the Zion Rest Church of Chrsit, Mike Beasley and Andrew Brown.
