Jo Elsie Bridges

Jo Elsie Bridges, 90, of Jumpertown, passed away on June 7, 2019. She was born December 11, 1928, to Joseph Benjamin “Joe Reed” Brady and Pearl Brady, who preceded her in death. She worked many years in the manufacturing industry and loved gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. She attended Jumpertown Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orman; brother, Dexter Brady; sisters Jamie Hensley, Joyce Dains, Johnnie Pearl Hollingshead. She is survived by one sister, Senita Coats; a sister-in-law, Mary Brady Smith; daughter, Janice Yates of Kenosha, WI; sons Orman Bridges, Jr. (Linda) of Athens, AL, and Billy Joe Bridges of Booneville; grandchildren, Martin Clifton Yates, Robert Yates, Laura Bridges Lee (Stephen), Leslie Bridges Duke (Matthew), Keith Bridges, Ashley Bridges Massey (Brandon), and Dustin Bridges (Hannah); 11 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews who she loved very much, and a special close friend, Francile Davis. Visitation will be held at McMillan Funeral Home in Booneville, MS, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 9, 2019 and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Monday. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, June 10, 2019 at McMillan Funeral Home with Shawn Weaver and Terry Roberts officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Yates, Dustin Bridges, Keith Bridges, Larry Bridges, Johnny Wayne Bridges, and Scott Brady.
