Andrew Teddy Nowak

Nowak, Andrew Teddy Andrew passed away peacefully on Dec 22, 2018 in Brantford. He was born Nov 3, 1948 in Hamilton. He is predeceased by his father Joseph Nowak and his mother Halina Skulska. Andrew was employed by Chedoke Hospital where he took a leave of absence from 1980-1981 to attend the Regional School of Nursing Assistance. On Sept 16, 2004 Andrew retired from Chedoke after 35 years of service as an RPN. Before Andrew’s open heart surgery on Mar 25, 2009, he travelled to different parts of Europe, Canada, the Carribean and Florida. Andrew greatly enjoyed going to see plays in Toronto and New York City. After moving to Brantford in 2009, Andrew enjoyed walking, reading, and gardening; he had a green thumb for growing indoor plants. In keeping with Andrew’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 133 Murray Street Brantford on Wednesday February 6th 2019 at 11:00 am.
