Emilia Kolasa

Emilia Kolasa was born on September 1, 1926, and passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019, at Brantford General Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband, John. Loving mother of Orysia Iris Kolasa and William John Kolasa. Emilia was an active member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist. A cancer survivor, the family wishes to thank the doctors, staff and volunteers of Brantford General Hospital and the Juravinksi Cancer Centre in Hamilton. The family will receive friends at the Thorpe Brothers Funeral Home and Chapel, 96 West Street, Brantford on Sunday, January 20th from 7 – 9 p.m. Panachyda at 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Funeral Home on Monday, January 21, 2019, at 10 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Brantford. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
