It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Nicola Zumpano of Burnaby, British Columbia. He passed away on July 8, 2019. He was predeceased by his mother Maria Mancuso, father Franco Giuseppe Zumpano, Antonio Zumpano, Salvatore Zumpano and Mario Zumpano. His sisters Irena Rossi and Gina Gargaro. He is survived by his loving wife, Romana of 59 years along with his sons, Franco (Josie), Gino (Pina) and his grandchildren Nicolas, Natasha, Anthony and Vanessa and great grandson Luciano. His sister, Anna Zumpano (Gordy) and his brother Settino and his many cousins, nieces and nephews. Nicola immigrated to Canada in 1951 from his beloved Spezzano della Sila. He will forever be remembered and loved by all. A Visitation will take place at Bell & Burnaby Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 19th between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish 555 Slocan St. Vancouver on Saturday, July 20th 2019 at 11:00 am.
