Nora Yet Ming Gee

Nora Yet Ming Gee 朱吳月明 was born on July 5, 1937 in Guangdong, China and came to Canada as a young girl in 1950. She passed away on May 14, 2019 in Burnaby, British Columbia. She was a kind, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by sons Ken (Kay) and John and grand daughters Kaitlyn and Kelsey. Her husband of 54 years, Kenneth See Gun Gee, pre-deceased her in December 2017. She loved gardening, playing Mah Jong and going out with family and friends to enjoy a good meal. One of her happiest memories was going on a cruise in Asia last year to Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore with her family. Visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, British Columbia from 5:00pm-7:00pm. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, May 31, 2019 at 10:00am in The Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, British Columbia, with interment to follow at 12:00pm in Ocean View Burial Park’s ‘Garden of Fortune II’, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC. After the burial, guests are invited to a Chinese reception at 2:00pm at the Grand Crystal Restaurant at Crystal Mall, #2216 – 4500 Kingsway, Burnaby (2nd floor – near food court).
