Mr. Gustav Batke

Gus Batke passed away at the Agape Hospice, in Calgary, Alberta on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the age of 85 years. He will be forever remembered by his wife of 59 years, Rose; his sons Darren (Pearl) and Terry (Audrey); his two precious granddaughters, Hayley and Jessica; as well as his sisters Ruth Schwarz and Hildegard Jaeger. He was predeceased by his parents Gustav and Juliane; his brother Wilhelm; and his nephew Alfred. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gus’ name to The Salvation Army, Agape Hospice (1302 – 8 Ave N.W., Calgary, Alberta T2N 1B8) or to Samaritan’s Purse (20 Hopewell Way N.E., Calgary, Alberta T3J 5H5)
