Hildegard Mueller

Hildegard Mueller passed away peacefully at Bow View Manor on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the age of 91 years. Hildegard was born in Skomatzko East Prussia on June 12, 1928. She immigrated to Canada with her husband Gunther Mueller in May 1955 and has lived in Calgary ever since. Hildegard was a wonderful wife and loving mother. She was a phenomenal cook who had a passion for making wonderful dinners and baking amazing and extraordinary desserts for family and friends. Hildegard had a green thumb and loved her plants and flower garden. Her kindness and generosity was shared with all those who knew her. Hildegard is survived by her two sons, Gerd (Lora) and Peter (Evana), grandchildren; Jessica Jurcic (George), Dieter (Magda), Lee (Taylor), Tanya (Andrew). Also great grandchildren Jesper, Maja, and Vera. She is also survived by her sister, Ingeburg who resides in Germany. She was predeceased by her husband Gunther in 2005. Hildegard will be sadly missed. Her loving and kind spirit will live in our hearts forever. A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Queens Park Cemetery.
