Alexius Marcel Stehlin

With sadness and heavy hearts, we announce that Alexius Marcel Stehlin passed away suddenly, but peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the age of 80. Alex was a kind, loving, and patient man. He worked for 30+ years as an engineer. He cherished every moment he spent with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. Alex loved to go camping and kayaking, take trips to the cottage, and host special dinners. He loved to reminisce about the time he spent in Algonquin Park. Alex will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his wife Brigitte, son Mark (Karen), daughter Katy (John), grandchildren Nicholas, Katrina, Shannon, and Danielle, sisters Christine and Sister Marion, and his friend Joyce. Alex joins his parents, Paul and Anna Stehlin, in heaven. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no funeral service. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Alex’s memory.
