DRURY, DOUGLAS ALEXANDER (1923-2019) DRURY, Douglas Alexander - Peacefully, on June 4th, 2019, at Chartwell Queen’s Square Retirement Residence in Cambridge, in his 96th year. Beloved husband of late Phyllis Marie (nee Duench) with whom he celebrated 61 years of marriage. Son of the late Douglas and Isabella (Park), and brother of predeceased Glenna Krueger (Jack). Loving father of Judy Wemerman (late John, Keith), Jim (Monique), Ed (Ruth) and Jane Muir (Colin). Grandfather to Greta (Chris), Ingrid (Dave), Eric, William (Heather), Jocelyn (Brent). Great grandfather to Gerrit, Bridget, Drew, Jonah, Johanna and Lilia. Founder of Canada Tool in 1956, a company he grew and operated for sixty years. The family will receive friends at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge on June 11th, 2019 from 7-9 p.m,. A Funeral Service will be held in the Coutt’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 12th, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Mount View Cemetery to follow.
