Empress Christania (Antoine) Millington

It is with great sadness that the family of Empress Millington announces her passing on June 15, 2019 at the age of 95 in Cambridge, Ontario. Empress was born on May 24, 1924 in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. She was an exceptional chef and baker and successfully ran a small catering business for several years. She was also a very talented seamstress and was known for her hand-beaded wedding dresses. Empress was predeceased by her husband Elwin. She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Camilla McDonald (Enroy, deceased), Russell Avis (Juliet), David Avis, Patricia Wilson (David), Hester Millington, Deborah Superville (Victor) and, Cheryl Millington (Philip). Empress will also be fondly remembered by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild including Garry, Dexter, Russell, Darlene, Ricardo, Wendell, Samuel, Tricia, Natassha, Kendell, Shervon, Dayton, Ryan, Brandon and Zachary. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Viewing will be on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 8:30 – 9:30 am at T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Cambridge, Ontario. A Funeral Service in memory of Empress will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 10:00 am at St Patrick’s Church, 53 Wellington Street, Cambridge, Ontario. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery, 235 Cooper Street, Cambridge, Ontario. Reception will follow the interment at the Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre, 700 Hespeler Road, Cambridge, ON.
