Obituary of Joseph "Larry" Noble Lawrence Law
With great sadness the family announces that Larry passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, in his 88th year. He is reunited with his beloved wife of 60 years, Lilian (nee Wilkinson). Loving father of Adele Kesselring (Dan), Chris Law (Angela), Colin Law (Maryanne) and Heather Fach (David). Proud grandfather of Julie (Simon), Dan, Nichole, James, Robin, Meghan (Nathan) and Laura (Tony) and great-grandfather of Reese, Trent, Colten, Levi, Christopher, MacKenzie, Bianca, Emmalyn, Ellara, Daniella and Natalia. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Jean Hardwick and many nieces and nephews, all of England. He is predeceased by his parents James and Margaret Law and his sister Jean Chrisp (John). Larry emigrated from England in 1966, a few months in advance of his wife and children. In 1978 he was one of the original founders of Enervac Corporation, retiring in 1999. Larry was a longtime member of the RCL Galt Branch 121. In his younger days in England, he played semi-pro rugby and for many years here, was a member of the Galt Eagles Soccer Club. He enjoyed gardening, had a wonderful if ‘corny’ sense of humour and truly loved his family. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and all are welcome to his Celebration of Life that will take place at the Galt Legion, Br. 121, 4 Veterans Way, Cambridge on Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 1 – 4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations in his memory to the Royal Canadian Legion or The Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
