Judith Anne Hanlan

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. Predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Blanche Bolender, and her brother-in-law Geoffrey Vero. Loving mother of Gordon Hanlan (Nancy) and Elizabeth Gawel (Mark). Proud grandmother of Meloney and Miles Hanlan, and Brittany and Brandon Gawel. Loving partner of Fraser MacKenzie for 26 years. Judy will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters Shirley Vero and Lynn Markle (Harold), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially her friends at Lake Kamaniskeg. Judy’s happiest times were spending time with her family during their trips to the cottage. Her family would like to thank the staff of the Second Floor B Wing at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, and Lisaard House for their compassionate care. Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation at Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd, Cambridge (519-653-3251) on Monday, April 1st from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Barthel Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 2nd at 11:00 am with private interment at Parklawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lisaard House in Judy’s memory would be appreciated.
