Isabel Macia Waters

Isabel M Waters, 81, of Mechanicsburg, PA, lost her battle with cancer on July 21, 2019. She fought hard over the past five months and her family takes comfort knowing she is now at peace. Born in Barcelona, Spain on March 5, 1938 - she maintained pride for her birth country throughout her life and yet lovingly called Mechanicsburg, PA home for the past 41 years. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Woodrow Wilson Waters, along with her sister and two brothers. Surviving Isabel are her three children residing in Pennsylvania and Virginia; as well as nine adoring grandchildren. Isabel was a beloved local piano teacher who won the hearts of her students with her Spanish accent and eccentric style. She will always be remembered for her devotion to German Shepherds, her ability to turn stubbornness into charm and her platform shoes. A Mass will be held at 10:30am Friday July 26, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church; 3435 E Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Burial services will be held at 12:30pm at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetry; Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA 17003.
