IN THE CARE OF
Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel
Jim Krautz was born on May 8, 1948 in Sacramento, CA and died on August 27, 2019 in Castle Rock, CO. He was a man of many talents, doing a variety of jobs including realtor, gas jockey, lighting in the movie industry and yardman for Moore lumber. He loved his family deeper than anyone I ever knew and everyone he met was his family.
His favorite thing to do, until Multiple Sclerosis took that away from him, was to act as a greeter at South Suburban Christian Church in Littleton, CO. He had a way of making you feel welcomed and loved and was famous for his enveloping hugs. He was an avid motorcycle rider, great fan of the Chicken Yakitori at Falcons football games and loved people from all walks of life. Jim went out of his way to make sure that people were loved and understood.
Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sue, his sons Ian (Jamey) and Bobby (Lesley), and grandchildren Tyler, Alyson, Callie, Ellie and Gavin. He is predeceased by his parents.
Jim loved his Denver Broncos and wearing Hawaiian shirts. Family and friends are encouraged to come dressed in more comfortable clothing which would include your Broncos gear, or in a Hawaiian shirt or dress.
