Theresa Marie Williams

It is with great sadness, mixed with joy that Theresa’s suffering is over. She is now soaring in Heaven. Theresa passed away Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019, at the age of 51, following four years of a courageous battle with breast cancer. Theresa was my soulmate. We had a tender and loving marriage for 25 years. Despite the recurrence of her cancer and the challenges it brought, in the last three months of her life she met the milestones she was fighting for, our 25th anniversary, two sons’ graduations, a trip to Disneyland, our daughter’s birthday and all of our sons going off to college. She loved her family, her friends and greatest of all, her Lord and Savior, Jesus. She was a tender and kind soul who taught me how to love. Theresa Marie Hamilton was born Jan. 11, 1968, in Vancouver, Wash., to Andrew William Hamilton and Joan Louise Kester. She received her BSN at the University of Portland with a ROTC scholarship, and served in the United States Air Force at Travis Air Force Base as a nurse, where she ended up finding the love of her life, Dr. Paul David Williams, who was also on a USAF scholarship for medical school. They were married July 9, 1994, in Sonoma, Calif., the beginning of an ever-growing loving relationship, always beginning and ending each day with a kiss and an, “I love you.” Theresa will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul; and children, Benjamin, Noah, Matthew and Ashleigh. She was preceded in death by her Grandma Kester; and brother, David Hamilton.
