Eda Mae Crawford
Eda Mae Crawford, 86, of Ooltewah TN, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 14, 2019.
Eda was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was a member of Bayside Baptist Church and retired from Parisian.
Surviving are her daughter, Sherrie (Richard) Shipley of Ooltewah; sons, Chuck (Charlene) Crawford of Harrison, Deaurhan Crawford of Chattanooga, Jamie (Teresa) Crawford of Ringgold, and Don Scott of Chattanooga; 14 grandchildren: Lee (Tim) Pierce, Lance (Julie) Shipley, Luke (Lindsey) Shipley, Amber (Matt) Wentworth, Curtis (Mandi) Crawford, Andee (Dr. Ted) Richards, Whitney (Tim) Vita, Kerri (James) Henegar, Abbi Crawford, Nicklaus Crawford, Madison Crawford, Gillian Crawford, Eric Scott and Adam (Natalie) Scott; and 16 great-grandchildren: Cameron, Brock, Tyler, Avari, Harper, Jack, Maggie, Knox, Jules, Sophie, Titus, Reagan, Joshua, Mattie, Corin and Savannah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Crawford; parents, T. C. “Cricket” and Maggie Combs; and brother, R. L. Combs.
The family will receive friends at the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home from 4 - 7 PM on Thursday.
Funeral Services will follow at 7 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist - East Brainerd Chapel (8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421) with Rev. Sterling Jetton officiating.
Burial Services will be private.
Eda was an avid supporter of St. Jude Children’s Hospital. The family would prefer not to have flowers but would prefer that, in honor of their mother’s legacy, memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. (www.stjude.org).
