Jacqueline Ruth Meints

Jackie Meints was born Jacqueline Ruth Veer in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on September 9, 1953. Jackie passed away in her home on December 25, 2018 from what is believed to be heart failure; she was 65 years old. Jackie is predeceased by her father Bill and her sister and brother-in-law Judy and Frank Hoppe and is survived by her mother Edith, brother Terry (Carol) and sister Glenda (Kevin) as well as several nieces and nephews. Jackie attended elementary and high school in Saskatoon, as well as the MB church with her family where she accepted Jesus as her savior through the church youth program. Jackie suffered from a mental health issue, which caused a lot of grief in her life and affected her ability to maintain normal relationships. Even though she distanced herself from the family she was still a daughter and a sister and an aunt and her passing leaves a hole in the family. She was loved whether she understood that or not and she will be missed. God will honour her commitment to Him and she is there with him now with a healed mind.
