Dorothy W. "Dottie" Cook

Dorothy W. “Dottie” Cook, 90, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in College Station. Interment will follow at College Station Cemetery. Dottie was born April 25, 1929 to Dean and Agnes Weimer in Wooster, Ohio. She married the love of her life Elmer H. Cook and together they raised four children. She loved being with her family and hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas with plenty of food, fun and laughter. Dottie and her husband enjoyed their trips to Tokyo, Hong Kong, London, Paris, Rome and especially loved Hawaii. Dottie is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; son, Elmer D.; and her sister and brother-in-law, Catherine and Ted Fox. She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl and husband Preston of Anderson, Carol and husband Steve of Pearland; son, Tommy and wife Karen of Tomball; daughter-in-law, Darlene of Houston; nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two nephews and one niece.
