Marjorie Ann Corbin

Marjorie Ann Corbin, 88, of Connersville, died Tuesday afternoon, June 25, 2019, at Hickory Creek Nursing Home. Marjorie was born in Fayette County, on November 17, 1930, to John Sr. and Margaret Peters Rollins. Marjorie attended local area schools and worked in local restaurants. Most recently, she had been employed as a custodian at Fayette Bank for over ten years. Marjorie loved her animals including her miniature horse, cats and dogs. Marjorie was married to Joseph Corbin in 1996. Survivors include her brother John Rollins and his wife Janice of Connersville; several nephews great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by two brothers: Donald J and Norman D. Rollins; nieces Donna Steele and Roxanna Triplitt. Memorial services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville, with Pastor Kim McHale officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made at the funeral home to the Fayette County Humane Society.
