Obituary of Trevor Lee Donald
Trevor Donald died peacefully in the early hours of May 29th, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Christine Donald and daughter's Laura Awdey (Gary), and Jennifer Worley. His grandchildren are, Emma Awdey, Linnaea Awdey, Bethany Worley, Adam Worley and Nicholas Worley. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Suzi. Trevor lived in Santa Monica most of his life. He was a graduate of Santa Monica High School as were his daughters. While his daughters were in elementary school, Trevor and the girls were active in Indian Princesses. He was also PTA President at John Muir Elementary School while Laura was a student. Trevor worked for United Air Lines for 42 years. He was a Customer Service Agent and also worked in the Baggage Control Center at the end of his career. When Trevor retired, Christine saw a request in the paper that volunteers were needed at UCLA Law School for their Moot Court Program. He loved serving on Jury Duty and found himself as a juror on many interesting cases over the years. So the UCLA program was a perfect fit. Trevor's other great interest was tracking the stock market. He followed Technical Analysis and could be found charting for hours on end. He also had a love of card games. For many years he was an avid bridge player and teacher. A favorite family card game was "shotgun solitaire". The more players the better. Trevor usually won the games. Hours before he died, unexpectedly, he was watching the Dodgers, enjoying a root beer float with Suzi stretched out by his side. Trevor will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers a contribution could be made to the Lange Foundation at 2106 S. Sepulveda Blvd. L.A. CA. 90025
