Mr. Jesse Otis Parks, Sr.

Jesse Otis Parks, Sr. was born on December 31, 1932 in Tyler, Texas to the parentage of Alma and Robert Parks. Jesse graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1949. After graduation, he served in the United States Air Force. After being discharged from the Air Force, he began employment with General Motors Corporation and retired after being there forty-three years. Jesse was united in marriage to Patsy Ann Harris and to this union seven children were born. On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, Jesse was welcomed in his eternal home by his parents, Robert and Alma; wife, Pasty Ann; son, Jesse, Jr., grandson, Phillip Winston and brothers, Robert, Jr. and John. Jesse leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Bridget Echols, Rodrick Parks, Karen Anderson (Glenn), Pennie Williams (Richard), Ollie Williams (Michael) and Tina Parks; fourteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; siblings, Rudolph Parks and Shirley West and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. There will be a private funeral service for Jesse Otis Parks, Sr.
