Daisy May Andrews

Andrews, Daisy May, age 67, Smith’s Cove, Digby Co. passed away May 15th, 2019, in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, surrounded by love. Born in Digby, she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Alice (Hunt) Andrews. She was a nature and animal lover, avid walker and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Daisy met many of her life-long friends on her long walks. In past years, she made quilts. She was a valued summer employee at Harbourview Inn for 14 years. Daisy is survived by sisters, Gertrude (Clark) Nichols, Berwick; Frances (Henry) Reeves, Cambridge; several nieces and nephews; many cherished neighbors and friends, too many to mention. She loved you all whole heartedly. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her many beloved pets. Cremation has taken place under the care of Jayne’s Funeral Home , Digby. (902-245-2525). A graveside service for family and Daisy’s friends will be held 2pm Saturday, May 25, 2019 from the Sulis-Smith Cemetery, Harbourview, Smith’s Cove. Rev. Edwin Allen will officiate. Thank you to everyone who visited, sent cards, flowers, gifts, phoned and cared for her. In her words, “ I didn’t know I had so many friends”.
