Gary Brian Smith

SMITH, Gary Brian age 71, Shelburne and formerly of Digby passed away January 10, 2019 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Bridgetown, he was a son of the late Fred and Rose (Weir) Smith. Gary was very talented when it came to making belts, purses, and wallets out of leather. Gary was a member of the Digby Wesleyan Church. He is survived by daughter Rosie, son Gary Jr., sister June Denton, Winnipeg, and brother Harold Smith, Toronto. He was predeceased by his wife Nancy, and sister Evelyn. No visitation by request. A celebration of Gary’s life with his church family will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from the Digby Wesleyan Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Digby at a later date.Donations in memory can be made to the Digby Wesleyan Church or to the Digby Food Bank.
