Linda Katheryn (Owens) Strickland

On September 20, 2019 Linda Strickland peacefully departed unexpectedly in her Wilcox Boulevard home. She was a graduate of the 1965 class of Brainerd high school and later McKenzie college in 1986 with an Associates Degree in Business Management. She was a friend to each of her Eastwood Manor neighbors. Linda loved her friends and especially her grandchildren who gave her great joy. She was preceded in life by her father Ruby Clinton Owens in 2005, mother Juanita Starlings in 2007 and her brother Dana Smith in 2016. She leaves to cherish her memory two loving sons; Fredericko Miguel Moore (Tyceia) and Jhosa Manuel Moore (Bonita) along with six grandchildren; Demetrius, Ashley, Amber, Sarah, Nevaeh, Nia and her longtime friend, Joy (Ms. Cookie) Ernsberger. A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held in the stateroom of the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Thursday September 26 at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor A.J. Bullard officiating.
