John Alphaeus Baptiste

It is with our deepest regret to announce the sudden passing of John A. Baptiste on March 1, 2018 at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, AB. Born in Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies, he immigrated to Canada and settled in Fort McMurray with his wife; eventually making Edmonton his permanent residence in 1977. In addition, Mr. Baptiste was a member of The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Lodge 146 for many years as a Welder. He is survived by his wife Eileen, daughters Sharon, Susan and Shirley, along with his cousins Judy Graham (Laurie) in Calgary, Olive Andrews in Trinidad. A viewing will be held Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810-34 Avenue NW, Edmonton with interment at Rosehill Cemetery.
