Orval McJannet

Orval McJannet passed away suddenly and peacefully on August 9th, 2019 at the age of 84 with his family by his side. Orval joined the Bank of Toronto on July 21, 1952. He was a career banker until 1993, when he choose retirement. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Blanche; daughter Lori (Scott); sons Duane, Craig (Carolyn), Ian (Holly); grandchildren Julia, Marie, Heather and Tyler; and his brother Neil (Joan). He is predeceased by his parents Hank and Alice; brother Grant; and niece Leanne. He will be missed by many relatives and friends. He enjoyed life and was ready with a quip, pun, dig or joke all the time. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Diabetes Canada. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 17th @ 2:00pm at the Hainstock’s Funeral Home 9810-34th Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta.
