Paulette Marie Pelland

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Paulette, at the age of 53 years. She exhibited great strength and dignity during her brief illness and was surrounded by immediate family in the end. Paulette is survived by her husband, Léo; her son, Robert; her mother, Florence; and her siblings, Patrick (Dawn Stephens), Noelle, Annette, and Joe. Paulette was predeceased by her father, Orest Mendiuk. Visitation before cremation on Wed. March 13, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 34 Ave. Mass of Christian Burial, Fri. March 15, 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 210 Haddow Close, Edmonton. Interment at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery at a later date. Paulette devoted her life to service as a wife, mother, nurse, piano teacher, music minister, and medical library technician. The family would like to thank the many friends, relatives, and the medical community who cared for her and her family during this time. Memorial donations would be gratefully accepted to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
