Julia M. Wilkins

Julia Wilkins, 90, of Evansville, passed away May 7, 2019, in Colorado Springs surrounded by family. She was born June 29, 1928 in Pike County, IN, the daughter of Joseph and Bertha (Bilderbach) Corn. Julia graduated from Petersburg IN High School in 1946. After graduating from Cosmetology School, she worked as a hairdresser and enjoyed traveling and crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Guy Joe Wilkins and son, Keith. She was the youngest and last surviving of ten children. Julia was survived by three children, Ande of Denver CO, Ken of Owensboro KY, and Julia Kay Snyder of Anchorage AK and three grandchildren, Rachel of Colorado CO, Zephyr of Denver CO, and Joey of Evansville IN and son-in-law Jeff Snyder of Anchorage AK. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.
