Laura Esther Perez

Laura E. Perez Jimenez, loving mother, grandmother, daughter, mother in law, family and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Woodbridge VA at the age of 70 in the company of her beloved family on May 22, 2019. Laura was born in Puerto Rico and lived in Virginia for the past 20 years. She is survived by her parents, Erotida, Luis and Eligio, daughter Lauritsah, grandchildren, Dillyan, Brandon and Xavier, her son in law BJ, her four legged grand dog Toby and many family and friends who's life Laura touched and became a part of. She lived life to the fullest, and was described as the life of the party "parranda andante". Laura was a "titi" and "abuela" to her family and beyond. Although she was small, she was a "GIANT" to many. We will all miss her inspiring, thoughtful messages and sticker filled greeting cards which she never failed to send on all special occasions. She faced life with courage and spent every minute of it loving, caring and spoiling her three grandkids. She was devoted to her grandchildren and salsa music! We would like to invite you to join us in remembering and celebrating her life and love for all of us on Saturday, May 25, 2019. There will be no viewing. Her wishes were to be cremated and for her ashes to be taken to her "Isla del encanto" Puerto Rico.
