Dr. Amos Orion Allinger, age 45, graduated to Heaven at 11:18am on the Lord’s Day, September 29, 2019 in Urbana, Illinois. He was born on August 16, 1974 in Flint, Michigan to parents Richard Allinger and Denise Phelps. His first book, "OMG It's True!" instantly became an International #1 Bestseller. He was a screenwriter, director, and producer for Orion Entertainment, producing his first of two full-featured films in the sequel, Believer, based on his book. Amos helped other aspiring authors write and publish their books and hand-picked stories from his clients as adaptations to Orion Entertainment for production. He graduated in 2017 with three doctorate degrees from IMI and is the proud father of 10 children. Amos is survived by parents: Richard (Denise Phelps) Allinger; children: Siara, Noah, Emyah, Avah, Rainah, Payton, Gaberiel, Zayden, Keelan, Israel; grandson, Kingston; beloved siblings: Kristie, Les, Amy Beth, and Rocky; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by step-father, Rocky; grandparents: Elwood Moore and Hallie Holbrook, and Harold and Maxine Allinger. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Visitation will take place on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 3-5pm. Interment at Flint Memorial Park. Those desiring to make a memorial contribution may do so to Whaley Children’s Center of Flint or Glaucoma Research Foundation.
